Den irske planleggingskommisjonen Bord Pleanála uttaler at over halvparten av den foreslåtte ni kilometer lange ruten til ilandføringen av Corrib-gassledningen er "uakseptabel" av sikkerhetsårsaker, på grunn av de nærliggende boligfeltene i Rossport og Glengad, melder Irish Times 3. november.

I et fire sider langt brev sendt i dag uttaler Bord Pleanála at den nåværende søknaden "ikke fullstendig, tydelig og tilfredsstillende kan vise" at gassledningen, som er under høyt trykk, "ikke vil medføre en uakseptabel risiko for befolkningen".
Bord Pleanála uttaler også at utbyggingen i et landlig område i Rossport vil medføre "alvorlige skader på privat eiendom" og utviklingspotensialet til landområdene i området. Det ble bemerket at deler av ruten til ilandføringen av gassledningen ikke var tatt med i søknaden.
Shell E&P Ireland har frist til 5. februar 2010 på å svare på en rekke punkter som ble påpekt av Bord Pleanála. Dette innebærer en betydelig forsinkelse i henhold til tidsskjemaet for prosjektet.

The Lars Løkke Rasmussen government is following the neo-liberal economic ideology of Ronald Reagan, Margaret Thatcher and Milton Friedman. They don’t care about the unemployed, the poor, the homeless, the sick and groups alike in the Danish society.

Denmark is, like the USA, the UK, Germany, Italy etc. a capitalist class soci-ety, and in 2009, the differences, because of years with public budget-cut-dawn politics (expect fore the military campaign in Iraq and Afghanistan, off course), the economic, cultural and other differences between the classes and people living in Denmark is apocalyptic.

This past October 12 what we have been denouncing for a long time as the ethnocide and ethno-devouring strategy of the current State-government of Venezuela took place: Chavez’s ministerial team came to award so-called title deeds to three indigenous Yukpa communities in the Sierra of Perija, with the pretense to finish the process of land demarcation in the habitat belonging to these people. It is noteworthy the absence of President Chavez in an event long awaited in the Sierra since the year 2002, when, by constitutional mandate, the State was supposed to finalize the process of land demarcation in all the indigenous territories in the country. Instead, an enormous deployment of soldiers blanketed the event, supposedly for the security of the ministers (Interior and Justice, Indigenous People’s, among other functionaries present), and who, at the slightest sign of protest by those communities not favored by the event, went immediately into action to repress their demands. It was, in the end, an event by which the Yukpa had to forcefully accept the receipt of NOTHING.
